Recently, I did a photo shoot with models from the Greensboro area. It was a collaboration was some of the best photographers, hair and make up artists, and models in the city. It was such an amazing experience! I have so much to share and so much to tell! This is Kendra, one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She was a delight to photograph!

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”
― Albert Einstein

My beautiful friend Cassidy modeled for my final portfolio. She told me of the gorgeous land she has behind her house and I couldn’t wait to go and explore!

“If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loud.”
― Émile Zola

As a self promo for my Photographic Illustration Class, I decided to go a bit more right brain with my photography. My little sister Alison is going to school for art at UNCG and painted on the models hands. I am very pleased with the outcome. This shoot has inspired to many ideas I cannot wait to be able to show!

My little sister Alison and her boyfriend Ryan were gracious enough to drive down yesterday for a Large Format photo shoot. I brought my Nikon D7000 as well for a digital portfolio. I love going out to the country of Asheboro and photographing. Alison is an amazing model!
